About My Travel

Hello, my lovely Philippines Church, I still can't believe that I am already here in India as a Missionary. I left the Philippines last July 06, 2026. The journey to get here was not easy. Even at the Philippine immigration, the spiritual battle had already begun. I was held for almost two hours because it was my first time traveling abroad, and the immigration officer asked me many questions. During those two hours of questioning, I was afraid that I might be offloaded. In that moment, all I could do was pray and trust God, asking that let His will be done. By God's amazing grace, I was finally cleared and allowed to board my flight. Hallelujah!

While I was on the plane to Singapore for my layover before heading to India, I experienced a mix of emotions. Memories of my family and all the members of the church kept coming to my mind. At that moment, it truly sank in that I was really going to India and would be away from everyone for a while. I felt both excitement and uncertainty, but above all, I was reminded that God had called me for a purpose.

During the flight, an Australian middle age man was seated beside me. Looking back, I believe God placed him there to accompany me on my journey to Singapore. He was incredibly kind like a father and stayed with me the entire time, making sure I safely reached my departure gate for my flight to India. I already began to see God's grace at work that I am not alone and He will use someone to help me in my journey.

The Journey

Settling In

When I arrived at Delhi Twowings Church, I immediately felt the warmth welcome and love of the community. Our 47th Batch received an unexpected surprised, and in that moment, my heart was filled with joy, gratitude, and excitement for the mission God has called us to do.

As the days went by, I began to experience the adjustments that come with living in a new country and serving in a different culture. There were moments when everything felt unfamiliar and challenging. But through it all, God has been teaching me to depend on Him more each day instead of relying on my own strength.

Even in the midst of these challenges and battles, I can clearly see God's hand at work. Through my personal devotions, prayer and listening to sermons, training and worships, God has been speaking to my heart in a very personal way. Day by day, through this mission, I am experiencing what it truly means to depend on God.

Ministry

My Ministry

I was assigned as a missionary to the Youth and Evangelism Ministry. I also helped in the Multimedia Ministry during the Lord's Day Worship Service. When we began the ministry journey on the Youth Community, it was challenging because some of the cell leaders had become inactive, which also led to many members to become inactive as well.

Through this ministry, I was reminded of Paul's words in Romans: "I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes." God helped me realize that the gospel is not only for those who have never believed, but also for believers whose passion for God has grown cold and whose faith has begun to fade. Just as they once needed the gospel to receive salvation, they still need the gospel every day to be renewed and restored.

By God's grace, we were able to witness the fruit of our prayers and visitations. It was such a joyful and glorious moment to hear some of the inactive members express their desire to return to worship and reconnect with the church. Seeing God soften their hearts reminded me that no one is beyond what God can do in a person's life. Through this experience, God taught me that He is faithful to pursue His children, and He allows us to participate in His work of restoration through prayer, love, and sharing the gospel.

Evangelism

Sharing the Gospel

As I encounter local people, I can see how God has been using my ministry as a Cell Leader and Teacher in the Philippines to encourage and connect with them. I am learning not only how to share the gospel in a different environment, but also how to understand their culture, listen to their stories, and appreciate their way of life.

One thing that has touched me deeply is the joy God gives me every time we go out for evangelism. Whenever I meet new people, I can feel God's heart for them. Often, the thought comes to my mind, "This is another opportunity God has given me to meet a soul whom He loves." That perspective changes the way I see each person.

Since Hinduism has a strong influence in India, sharing the gospel during the first meeting is often not the best approach. Instead, we focus on building genuine friendships first. We exchange Instagram IDs, stay connected, and spend time getting to know them. Through these daily interactions, we are able to build trust and deeper relationships. As the relationship grows and by the leading of the Holy Spirit leads, opportunities naturally open for us to share the gospel and do the blank paper evangelism.

Mission Training

Confronting Spiritual Darkness

During weeks of our training, we visited several temples. As I walked through them, I sensed the heaviness and spiritual oppression. Seeing so many people devoted to worshiping idols instead of knowing Jesus as Lord deeply affected my heart. Before coming to India, I had only read in the Bible about people making and worshiping idols. Now, I was witnessing it with my own eyes.

As I looked around, I feel God's heart and my soul ache for the souls in India. While we were inside the temples, I quietly prayed, asking God to reveal Himself to those who were searching and to break the strongholds that keep people from knowing the truth of the gospel. I prayed that, just as the walls of Jericho fell by God's power, every barrier preventing people from coming to Christ would also be broken in Jesus' name.

Through this experience, God gave me a greater spiritual awareness and reminded me that our battle is not against people, but against the spiritual forces that keep them in darkness. He also taught me to depend on the power of prayer more than ever before. I realized that prayer is one of the greatest ways to participate in God's work, trusting Him to do what only He can do.

This experience also reminded me that God deeply loves the people of India. God's desire is for every person to know Him and experience the hope that is only found in Jesus Christ. That is why He continues to send missionaries to share the gospel, so that those who have never heard His name may come to know so that they may receive salvation. It is a privilege to be part of what God is doing here, and I continue to pray that many lives will be transformed by His grace.
